Mlotek is the author of three books:

• Why Jews Do That or 30 Questions Your Rabbi Never Answered with illustrations by Faby Rodriguez and Jenny Young (Skyhorse 2020). A playful introduction to Judaism with hilarious cartoons to boot! Endorsed by Bari Weiss, Rabbi Joseph Telushkin, Tova Feldshuh and many others!

• Passover in a Pandemic illustrated by Ally Pockrass (Ben Yehuda 2021). This children’s book, available in English and Yiddish, tells the story of a young girl connecting with her Holocaust survivor grandmother during the COVID lockdown, learning much about resilience and her grandmother’s story.

• Butterfly illustrated by Annita Soble (Archway 2024). Based on a Hasidic fable, this children’s story imagines a rabbi with a superpower - answering any question in the world, correctly! When young Jacob comes to town, he is determined to stump the rabbi but ends up learning an important lesson along the way.
